I removed the undertray that was fitted to my car afew years ago and got it repainted satin black. Were steel undertrays fitted origanally to 2wd Sapphires? When I removed mine it looked like it had been on since factory. Just ive never heard of them being fitted to other cars. Here is a pic to see what its like.

I will be fitting it to the car anyway as it makes it looks alot better.

I don't think they were fitted as standard on 2wd. I had mine from 2.5 years old and it didn't have one. Looks good though

It did have the ford white and blue sticker still on it when I got the car. But I removed that to paint it. So its defonatly a ford part. Just now sure if they were fitted with them from factory. Maybe they were removed at first service by some technicians. As it would get in the way??

Someone beat me to it with the pic lol My car threw the drive shaft on the drivers side and damaged the tray a bit so I bought a replacement off of Rich (XR4X4RS) on here which was/is in good nick and is now on my car, I put mine on ebay and it went for Ł20 even with the damage on it, the fella came from quite far to pick it up too.

Could they have been an optional extra maybe - no mention of them in the official Ford manual that I could spot??

Hey looked for one for more than 1 and half year. Not as much as the pectel monitor, but it was one of the part I always wanted lol. Should be ok for MOT, then will put my group A guard, but will keep the std one, sorry.
