I've started to collect one in bits

(actually these are original rs500 wheels that it came with - mine was the parts val / homoglation vehicle)

My car had these fitted if you recall mate - we had this conversation before? They were separated from the car by the time I got it but I managed to get them back.

They are date stamped on the spokes and have been checked back with previous owners. Ford sent it to Europe from new so its first registration in the Uk wasn't until 89. By way of a reminder you thought that the Parts Val Service must have been done here in the UK before it was sent abroad? I discovered the various notes behind the dash etc.??

I've only ever seen them on the McRae Rally car and a few others from that era - plus the 200s had a slightly different version as their inner rims were not 'borrowed' as per the cossies.

I'm keeping them safe as my car is for using and aint exactly original as you know... I just love driving it
