Cosworth Fuel light
i have had my 2wd saff for a couple of years now and the low fuel light has never worked.......well the fuel gauge didn't work for a year but then jumped into life on it's own !!!!!................i am just wondering(as i can't remember from my last saff) whether the light should come on with the ignition at start up ?????? ps low washer fluid light doesn't work either, so just want to know if any one else has had similar problems to save me tracing wires etc ..
cheers in advance

As said comes on with ignition and low washer fluid, flashing means by signal with these, as two are out it might pay to just oput a seperate earth there to see if that is the problem on the light panel strip.

Mine had a fuel gauge / light prob - there was crap on the connections on the fuel tank - dropped it enough to get my hand in via the wheel arch and fiddled a bit - it worked for a while so next winter dropped it further and cleaned it all up. No probs since then
PS Be careful not to snap the clips - grip them well as you pull

I have problems with my temp gauge and fuel gauge not working once in awhile... a good smack on the top of the dash fix's that. for a bit.

cheers for all the reply's.....i am glad to see that i am not alone with these wierd faults.....and that that normally a good whack fixes things but this didn't work for this problem so i think i will have to try putting a seperate earth to the panel and go from there(that's if i take it out and it is wired up )
cheers again
