replaces the standard flame trap located under the inlet manifold. allows the crankcase to breathe better than the standard system & allows any oil partcles to be returned via the bottom of the seperator into the sump again

do you have to drill a hole in the sump to put the return into it?

you don't have to if you replace the standard sump bung with the appropriate size pipe fitting (M14 x 1.5)
