boost came in then went bang with a big cloud of black smoke out the back came on boost again and it was ok, also i would be doin between 70-80mph on motorway nice and steady, go to over take a car half throttle, boost come in and it would just misfire back off and on again then it would clear it self

Mine doesn't bang or anything like that. It misfires in any gear after 1st gear

it could be flooding up I guess

I drove the car back to my garage for further investigation last night and it wasn't bad

It did misfire once as it boosted up but on the whole it was behaving. It was still jerky though.

Tonight I plan to change the plugs and fuel filter.
