Default Cosworth shell

is there a difference between a cossie 4*4 or 2wd shell and a normal sierra shell?I know that 4*4 has a different tunnel.

There are cut outs on the front chassis rails for the driveshafts too I think.

and there are other differences between the 89 and 90 spec shells too

but thats not to say that the 89 stuff won't fit to the 90 spec shells, but the doors will need a little "adjusting" as the door locks are different and they need "persuading" to fit (with a hammer and a drift but i'm talking 2 or 3 mm here)

Nothing else.no strengthening in the cossie shells?

so would you be able to place all cosworth running gear and engine in to a xr4x4 without any modifications to the chassis?

a cossy shell is different from a pinhead shell...you cant tell from the outside but the welding of some of the internal panels is different around the rear shelf/back seat area..there are extra bits welded in

Hello Rolf! Johnny Lehti in sweden here. There is also strengthening in the gearboxtunnel!
