Default what dvd player in a 4x4 saph dash

hi
ii want to put a dvd player in my cossie it has a early 4x4 black dash in it.
i thaught about putting a motorized screen one in, but dont think ll be able to as there is a lip above were the radio would sit, and i dont think the screen would clear it.
I was also thinking that maybe i could put a screen where the pocket is under the air vents with the clock and car sensor thing is.
if anyones done this before how did they fit it. and what manufacture and model, is it best to get.
id be graeful for any advice
thanks steve

Hi mate recently purchased a £500 ripspeed dvd head unit but it would not fit . According to the people at Halfords there are none that fit. Did think of having a go at fitting it in there but would be a lot of work.
Hope this helps
Luke

Hey mate, got a late model Saph Cos, recently bought a JVC KD-AVX2 with built in 3.5" screen! Fits no problem cos its single din, i didnt want a big screen taking up my dash either, and took 20 mins 2 fit! Top quality!

hello mate im not sure about the 4x4 dash but i fitted a motorized screen in my 3 door by making an adapter to bring the radio out further,i wasnt sure how it would look at first but it turned out really well and i didnt have to butcher the dash so i can fit a normal radio back in any time
