Default Is It Common For Rad Fans To Be ON When RS500 Cooler Fitted?

Got a stage three sapphire with RS500 style intercooler. Is it common for the radiator fans to be on a LOT with the standard radiator? I've changed the thermostat, fan switch, and flushed the sysem with no difference. The temp gauge never goes above the O, generally sits between the R and the O.

If this is common, what remedy is usually used??

Cheers,
Pete.

I'd say over 50% of the time. And it is always both of them that are on. There is never just one on at a time. As it is a two stage fan switch i trhought this stange.

Yes they are on a lot and stay on for a long time. The escorts have a 2 stage fan switch, but i dont think Saff's do. Ive only ever known both fans to be on and that on mine, my mates 3 door and another mate who used to have a saff, so unless all of ours are fucked then dont worry

Terrific That's just what I wanted to hear!!! That puts my mind at ease.

Would a water wetter make any difference or are they crap?

Cheers for that,
Pete.
