sorry for the confusion its actually called hydraulic fluid used in auto boxes and pas systems red in colour cant remember finis number. a friend who's a service tech for tvr also recommends using this in t5 boxes

The T5 was originally run on ATF fluid, well a modified version of.
It is not uncommon for manual gearboxes to use an ATF. If you want a really good one have a look at the Amsoil Synthetic ATF.
