k my m8 has A 4X4 saff running t34-48 light blues air to airs we want to take the air to airs and pectel bored out and sell them is the chip part of the light blues or if well take the bored out will it need a chip to work if you no what i mean

If you remove the board the chip wont work. You may as well sell it with the board.

You then need a std board and chip to run teh car again.

If you remove the Pectel board, you can't use the chip that was plugged into it, by itself in the ECU.

You'll need a replacement chip that can run in the ECU without a Pectel board, mapped for light blues/engine spec/turbo etc. and some other form of boost control (amal valve for example) i.e. the chip on the Pectel board has been written to suit the injectors, turbo and rest of the engine spec.

The Pectel board is there to decrypt the chip plugged into it, to prevent people copying chips. Not all tuners use Pectel boards.
