Karl,

Well..where wasnt it rotten? lol

It was rotten in..... Boot floor, both chassis rails, O/S/F wing (from inside out), trans tunnel, both front floors, N/S/F inner wing by turret oh and both rear arches (one bubbling inside door shut!!)
The rear shelf also had 2 big cracks at each end.

You just dont notice it all until you start stripping them down. The new shell has a couple of places were it needs work but nothing like the old one.

Got plenty of pics to start a resto thread at some point.

Mum got a fiesta zetec-s from your place this morning. Nice little car. Will need to sort out some mats for her with trade discount next week

No, was a colorado red one they already had in stock with climate pack and tech pack with privacy glass and half leathers.
I did notice that they had left a few bits of tape here and there in the boot and just under dash on PDI/valet lol
Also the diag port cover kept popping open but sorted that now.

Some pictures of mine. It's standard 1988 2WD. I was always dreaming of having one .
Some pics with french registration plates where it came from. Amber indicators are back in front, rear red lamps are waiting to be mounted on their place.

I agree. That used to live in Bexley literally a 30-second walk from my place? Always looked like a clean one.

Mine is the same as the first pic. On the second the cosworth badge is too low.

Have a look at mine which I'm sure is standard position:

Cool. As soon as the weather improves I'll go out and sort it

The Cossie doesn't get as much respect on the road without the proper badges, I noticed this since I had mine resprayed - got a couple of non-standard badges off eBay, since then people think the car is a replica...

Anyway, someone here sold me a full set of standard badges for pocket change, sorted
