So would it be a real carbon fibre cover then? not an overlay? I'm guessing we could get it with or without breather tube and of course, How much!??

The plan is to make them breather ready with a blank, mabye have no writing on at all, will need a laser cut stencil to get that look

Mine is the first one to be made, just finding out if its ok to have ford and cosworth writing on them ,so when its been tested they will be getting made

They are not overlayed with carbon, and will cost in close to Ł500,by no means cheap but top quality and will weigh next to nothing

Cool, I can't wait to see it then. I would want the Ford Cosworth writing on it, I'm proud to be one of the few cossie owners in the US. LOL
Oh yeah, are they going to be a screw in oil cap or push down and twist?

Default Carbon part that I would be interested in

I know I would be interested in these

turbo heatsheild
battery holder
fan holder

windscreen splitter
fog light surround
fog light air ducts
side strips
air injector bracket
amal valve bracket
k&n heatsheild
spark plug cover
gauge mounts
d/v blanking plug

they should look very good but i do have a question or 2,on carbon fibre will the oil soak into the inside of the cam cover as the out side is smooth and shiny and silled the inside of carbon looks porious? is the breather going to be a threaded boss so as to have a fitting screwed in or a blank? and surly if you get more than 5 or 10 people wanting these cover the price will drop alot as the first people to buy will cover the cost of the patern and your cam cover as i have looked into carbon pleniums to mate up with throttle bodys.something else to make is a plate that goes inbetween the inlet manafold and the head about 1/2 thick with the right holes in the right places as this has been done before and it stops heat soak from the engine to the head, just a idea.the cam covers should be good

Im leaving the making of the cam cover to the pro's,if it goes tits up then its my engine at stake,it will need alot of testing .The breather will be threaded so you can either slide a hose over and jublee it on or screw some areoquip on it thats the plan anyway, the smaller stuff will be made first while the cam cover is getting alot of time and thought over it

How does a plate that goes from inlet to the head stop heatsoak from engine to head or are you talking about a plenum spacer?

Think they will be made without the writing due to copywright, but im trying to find somewhere that does the laser cut stainless stencils that can be stuck on.breather will come blanked and ready
