Loads of cheap Rs turbo parts
Right hi guys my project is coming to a end so have loads of bits left so I'm having a clear out,
all parts as listed paypal as a gift only please
Standard Rs turbo mfi flywheel ideal for skimming while yours still on the car £15 inc post
Drivers headlight new never fitted brought from euros £15 Inc del
Steering surround top has a small led in it bottom has a small switch on side £12 Inc post
Thermostat housing good condition isn't from s Rs turbo as the sensor hole is in wrong place maybe efi or fiesta please see pics at end £12 Inc del
Rs turbo fuel pipes general different ones metering unit etc £12 Inc del
Servo to inlet pipe £10 Inc del
Indicator brackets new never fitted £5 Inc del
Indicator / wiper arms UNTESTED £10 Inc post
88 spec roof clock again untested £7 Inc post
Full set of valves,rocker arms , spacers ,collets etc all bagged in the right order everything you need to build a head all used £20 Inc del
Gearbox mounts not the cradle type came from my LSD box I brought rubber looks ok £12 Inc del
Alternator bracket genuine ford £10 Inc del

Not sure what the engine is exactly but Zetec block, 2.1, CVH head, forged pistons etc etc runnig at T3. Fitted to an Escort RS Turbo.
Cam is fine, new lifters fitted and tightened as they should have been at correct torque and method. No reason to think oil pressure is low. Engine is spotless inside.
But there is a light rattle, comes and goes, but mostly its there, sounds exactly like one or two lazy lifters.
some of the rocker arms will move in a twisting motion if you try to make them, as if they are worn, but they dont look obviously worn out, some wear marks but not trerrible.
Questions, anyone have any ideas? Also, do the rockers need replacing sometimes or is it never heard of? Should the fulcrums "fit" nicely in the rocker because these dont really, but I am being picky there.
I would assume from the spec of the engine that it was built by someone who knew what he was about but of course you never know.

Some of the rockers will move mate depends at what point the cam is at mate a slight rattle is normal really the Cvh head isn't known for being quite what oil are you using in it as I use a high grade oil and it's very quite mate
