We have built a brand-new 1600cc CVH Bottom-end, built to roughly the same spec as mine, as follows :-
Ross Racing Custom Forged Pistons (Low Comp)
Farndon Steel H-Section Con-Rods
ARP Big-End Bolts
Standard 'Virgin' Crank (hasn't been ground, which is strongest)
Fully Lightened, Balanced & Line-Honed
Brand new genuine Ford Oil Pump
Brand new genuine Ford Water Pump
Brand new genuine Ford Sump
Brand new genuine Ford Cambelt Tensioner
Heavy-duty bearings
OE Spec Head Gasket
It is an EFi block, so has the mounting hole for the Crank Position Sensor, if needed. However, it has been converted to the normal push-on adaptor for the Oil Drain, so is good all-round.

There is over £1500 worth of Rods/Pistons alone in this engine, so is well worth £2000 I think.
