are the xr4x4 bits same as 4x4 cosworth (sierra)
Engine Cradle
Gearbox
Steering Rack

think the steering rack ends are 10mm longer each side,the bolt pattern on the bellhousing is different and im unsure about the cradle,but i think its the same.

gearbox ratios and first motion shaft are different also, front prop is different

you can use the crossmember, engine mounts, steering rack, props, diffs, rear shafts if you have the 2.9
if you have the 2.0 then you can use the gearbox, but not the diffs as they are different ratio's

the front non cossie shafts are about an inch longer so they bind up in their stops
the cv's are the same though

Quite a few people have fitted the longer xr shafts to lowered cossies due to the camber and problems when on full lock

parts that are the same are
engine cradle
engine mounts
front and rear diff
rear driveshafts
front driveshafts are longer but will work fine
front and rear prop are the same(only early 2.9 and 2.8 used a skinny front prop)
rear beam will be ok, only difference is hubs are taller and bushes( fine if you go cossie hubs and poly bushes)
abs pump is the same
