4x4 focus cosworth shell
right carnt belive am thinking about doing this but here we go
all othere parts will be available if i decide to break the car but just gauging how much intrest there is in the shell first
firstly it was a cat d when i bought i i didnt think this mattered due to the floor going to be cut out anyway the only damage to the shell was a slight scrape down the rear quarter when it turn up from the salvage yard as seen in this thread https://passionford.com/forum/restor...4-07-09-a.html easy repairable and dont matter anyway now its got the rs kit on it
i have recently modified the tunnel to take 4x4 box as i was goin to 4x4 the car but it could be put back to 2wd with a bit of welding due to the 2wd gearbox mount having to be cut out slightly although i belive there is another mount that ford made for somthink else that will pick up on a 2wd box and pick up on the 4x4 mount holes on the shell
the shell will come with the following
welded in roll cages
all doors ,boot lid and custom vented bonnets st170 head lights and all rear light
polycarbon windows
full genuine rs kit
all the wireing looms engine ,fan looms which are ryan looms with a focus interior loom modified to run with the cossie engine loom this was done by a proffesional auto electrician
flocked dash board
steering colume modified with a focus top part for adjustment and a sierra bottom half
steering wheel
brake lines which are braided items
bias brake box with ap fluid pots
hydraulic hand brake
low milages 2wd gaz coilovers to keep it rolling
compermotives et26 8.5 wheels with toyo r888 made for this car rear wheels are spaced out with a hub centric space which are also included
ecentric top mounts
will also leave the carbon door cards in
carbon effect battery box in the boot
proberly will end up leaving other little bits and peices on it to
right as you can see i am leaving alot of moneys worth of bits on the shell
i am looking for £7000
i will sell the shell at a lesser spec if someone wants it lik that and we can talk about a price when i no what is to be left on

am gutted meself lik but am just fed up with puting money in to it all the time well il just see what intrest there is in the shell i not the above price seems expensive but when you work out the money in the shell and the bits goin with i it aint realy

alrite mate at this stage i would rather keep the loom with the shell if it makes it more sellable yes the number plate will be up for sales as well that aint included in the shell unless someone wants to pay extra for the plate so the plate will be for sale seperate

How much would u be looking for the full car with engine and everything complete?or is this already been stripped down?if so,whats it needing to get it up and running again?

this is the thing mate it still alltogether but i would lik to shell the shell before i list the other bits i have all the bits to 4x4 it including a bara box that just been back to bara and been freshed up also got the frozen main shaft thick wall atb diff brand new also proper twin plate clutch also just bought some realy taste leade 3way adjustable suspension with remote resivours as well as all the other bits so breaking the car i stand to make in the regin of 25k all i needed to finish it was an exhaust system

yes mate the box is 4wd and will fit a saff its fresh back from barra it had a frozen mainshaft put in it il be after what i payed for it back which was £3200 its done no miles at all since i got it back i never even got chance to get it in the car lik

nice but i think the price is putting people off and if it was cheaper i might give it a go as i am looking for another car at the moment but keep looking at mk1 focus RS again and for a bit more i could have a complete running car so if you can move on the price some way give us a shout

i am prepered to move on the price mate but i will start removing parts listed above i aint gonna give it away add up the cost on buying a focus then having it converted and roll cage fitted then buying and fiting a full rs kit as well as having it painted inside outside and underneath and then the price of all the parts am leaving with it it will add up to alot more than am askin dont get me wrong i dont expect to get all my money back there is no way that will happen but i want a fair price for it if its going
