Default AIM MXL Dash - NOW SOLD

SOLD

I have for sale the AIM MXL Dash from my car. Its the MXL STRADA STREET Version with odometer so road legal too.

Link to Aim Website

This is the Strada Version and also benefits from being the ICON version which has Green, Blue and Yellow Warning LED's built in that can be used for indicators, main beam etc. Than can also be used as standard alarm LED's.

Anyone who is looking at this will know what a great piece of kit these are. Connects directly to most ECU's and/or can support 8 analogue channels as well as RPM and Speed inputs. Can display pretty much any data from your ECu and any analogue channels. Also has a CAN input for other options. I have it connected to my ECU, My Gearbox, A Wideband Lambda and other Analogue sensors on my car. All viewable at the flick of a button.

The AIM units have a tonne of plug in extras that they support too and can do lap timing as well via a beacon or GPS input.

I have the genuine AIM beacon receiver and sender kit here too if required. (not included at this price)

Its so easy to configure using the AIM Race Studio software via USB (Lead required)

This is for the dash only.

The MXL Strada normally retails at £850 inc VAT.

This is like new and perfect condition. I can provide technical help too for getting it setup.

All details on the AIM site here CLICKY

Looking for £550

Any questions, please ask.

Stu

It wont read the datastream from a L8 mate but you could wire it to existing sensors using the analogue input method.

It would pickup the basics like RPM and speed easy enough and you could easily tap into water/oil temps, Oil Pressure, Air charge etc

So you have to add their sensors or can you calibrate it for any sensor?

You can use your own sensors no problems and calibrate them. The software comes with loads and you can create your own on any channels in the Race Studio Software. Once you have dont this you simply transmit them to the dash.

You can also have the laptop connected live and make adjustments to any of the channels whilst seeing exactly what they are reading.

They are a seriously cool piece of kit and totally blow the likes of Stack out of the water when it comes to the configuration. Its all done yourself.

This is what the software looks like:

Yep, it has the odometer and trip settings. Forgot to mention that. Current reading is 2074 miles which is all I have done in my car since 2007!

Yes it works directly with DTA ECUs using the serial connection. Very easy and exactly how I connect it to my T62000.

Stu

when you have a good discount with AIM then you dont pay alot more than £400 for a second hand unit

a man can only offer what he is willing to pay, if it was a GEMS LDS4 then we would be talking proper money

good luck.

And i thought the AIM looked a bit tacky. That GEMS thing looks like it belongs in an xmas cracker - the asda smart price ones.

I have now changed my opinion on the AIM dash. If i had the money etc. Good luck with the sale Stu
