Mint 3dr shell
1986 shell, totally mint, orignal panels & paint, no rust at all
all documantation
car been garaged all its life & most people who know my car will
say its one of the best original shell about.
comes with doors, tailgate, car loom [not engine loom] headlining

I know paul, it going break my heart tbh, i relly dont wana do it
but it going cost me at least anothe £5k to finish and i just cant
do it at mo, trying get another house as well and just aint got the time.
really wish i hadnt stripped it now but to late...........
once shell goes ill get rid all the good bits aswell.......

rob get some cleaner pictures up of the bay, the pictures really show the car in a bad light, and its an extreamly clean car, certainly one of the better ones out there mate, wipe over the bay and take another coulple of snaps for buyers.

yea there no rush at all to get it done, but aint sure i can be bothered now, thing is with cost of insurance, petrol tax and considering i only
ever do 3 - 4 k a year anyway in it im struggling to justify the costs....

Mate you can NEVER justify the costs of a cossie let alone a 3dr with 500 bits on it 
however I reckon if you can just leave it until you can be arsed then they will only go the way of MK 1 and 2 escorts
I have driven mine about 4 times last year and did the HG a few months ago (still not been arsed to take it apart yet!)
If you can afford to keep it until you have some more time you wont regret it!
but if you do decide not to put it together, price on the front bumper and engine lol

i actually dont have to sell it, i can afford another mortgage
however its a fair chunk to put towards another deposit on a house..
but it a lot of money tied up in something that wont make me
anything in the future, getting old now guys 40 this year, time to finally use my relistic head!!!

That the thing it would be nice to sell it as a whole car but i know

cant justify spending anymore.................
plus althought ive meet loads nice people over the years the scene
just aint the same, especially down here, with Rhys, Stretch etc all
selling theres, dont get the enjoyment going shows much now...

yea i aint happy about breaking it myself but if i put it back together ill
only get 12k if im lucky, actually this car owes me nr £65k since 99, im
never going get it back iknow...
thing is i really need spend another £5k to get it back together to
the spec i want, so either way its going cost lol

real shame mate , but like you said they can be money pits
theres not that many genuine 3dr cossies about now they are all getting broken for spares and repairs
i have spent a shit loads on my cossie over the yrs and have had mine since 92
i haven't spent 65k like you i would say i have done 35k atleast
parts were a little cheaper in the late 90's compaired to early 90's tho
if you are selling the parts i would be intrested in the washer bottle and the side stripes they can come off with a heat gun and a scraper
you have to do it easy tho
is the headlining for sale ?
