well guys. got a quick question about my fathers ranger. it over heated an woudnt start now when it does he said he it sounds like a marching band..... diesel clatter possibly?? the garage told him that the engine was gone caput. my reading of things is that the head gasket split between two cilinders and filt with water hence the diesel clatter and over heating, would some 1 be able to cunfurm my rendition of the situation.....
