Complete Zetec Setup for MK1 + MK2 Escort...
A sad day:-
I have managed to pick up a ST170 engine (the engine I always wanted), and have big plans for it but am short of funds. So I have decided to TRY and sell my conversion before spending any money on the new one.
If it does not sell then a mate want the ST170 I have just bought.
Down to the facts:-
This sale will include EVERYTHING you need to convert a MK1/2 escort to Zetec.
The figers:-
Rolling road tuned to 168bhp/146bft.
What you get:-
1800cc sivler top zetec (2000cc avalible) fitted with ARP bolts.
Gas flowed head (Ron Harris) fitted with Piper Race Cams and pullys.
Weber Alpha Silver Kit (Ignition ECU weber 45 carbs + TPS) These carbs are the one's build for this conversion not like other carbs.
Capri 2.8 Type9 Gearbox modded to suit this engine.
105SPEED Exhaust manifold + custom built system + race can for track days.
Raceline water manifold + headder.
Dunnel Motorsport Inlet Manifold.
Dunnel Motorsport Sump.
Heavy Duty World Cup Engine Mounts.
World Cup X-member to suit.
Altonator (zetec type not old escort one) and fitting kit to suit.
Starter motor to suit (was new 2years ago).
Radiator and Fan to suit (polo/custom).
And all the nuts bolts clips water pipes switches wires and anything else that you need to fit and run this conversion.
The setup is STILL fitted and RUNNING in my MK1 Escort and will remain there until sold.
Car and engine are well know and very reliable. I driver this car to work out in the evenings up/down motorways go Drag racing (14.1 PB) and track days It has Never not started let me down or in any way given me trouble.
Anybody is welcome to see the car and I will take you out for test drive for as long as you want I will bet my left spud you get out with a smile on your face.
