Default Help on ST mondeo TCDI

Hi,
I have just purchased a ST from a dealer with 112,000 miles and had just had the 4 x injectors changed.

The problem I am having is the car is chugging on idle when cold with a diesel knock sound and the. I am also getting blue/white smoke out of the exhaust when standing still????

Why would that cause a diesel knock?

Sounds like the injectors mate. Do a leak back test.

Yes it can be. As said carry out a injector leak off test. This will tell you the condition of them. They shouldn't really leak any diesel back. Only minimal amount. Also would be a gd idea to have a computer diagnosis via obd port.

Did they code the injectors to the ECU

Sounds knackered to me. If you can, take it back and get a refund.

Could need the latest ecu software.
Mine started to smoke when i started from cold and run rough for a couple of seconds not allowing me to rev until it cleared.
Had the latest software put on at Ford and it cured it all.
Was about Ł70 so maybe they'd pay for that?

This doing my head in!!!!

Not sure if i want it repaired or a full refund and go for a completely different car.

I have only had the car 7 days so confident i can get a refund, but really like the car and if they re-do the injectors, change the EGR,Glow plugs and have the car running spot on they seem really good.
