hi all

i started my 98 st24 for the first time today she has been sitting for about 4 months anyway she started fine moved her around the corner to give her a good clean finished what i was doing when to the engine bay checked all of the conector plugs to make sure tha they were all in corectly 1 was abit loose anyway started her up and now the engine noise has changed to a deeped growl and a slight judder any thoughts.

and now my middle air direction knob dosent work you can turn it but its stuck on the demister setting

funnily enough iv been getting this happening for a while on my focus and i think its a dodgy imrc. inlet manifold runner control. its usually a simple fix on the focus but not sure on st24 if they are the same. its the only thing i can assume that would change intake noise.

 

just been to my macanic and he is saying that it is my coil pack has gone down so new 1 is on order so fingers crossed it solves the problem
