Default 02 Mondeo 2,0tdci wont start after crash

Hi,
I had a small incident with my mondeo just before christmas and smashed the left front corner of the car. I've had it towed to a friend of mine to see if i can get it back on the road, but before i start buying bodypanels, I would like for it to start... Which it don't.
After the crash I found a control box of some sort lying behind the car, which I've later have been told is the control module for the diesel injectors. This has of course been re-connected, but without any effect. I've tried reading the fault codes but nothing comes up.
I'm out of ideas now, but thought I should post a thread here before I give up and call my local Ford workshop (£65 for diagnostics and £90/hr for work)...
Hope someone out there could help me.

Regards from Norway
Ole Petter

Do the diesels have a fuel cut off switch? Pretty sure it's in the left hand side footwell, behind the kick panel.

That was the first thing I checked, but I couldn't find and I've later been told that there is none...

If you smashed the ICU (injector control unit) out of the car, then it's highly likely it's damaged! I'd look at fitting a new one.
