I am just about to buy another ST24 engine for my car to re biuld and freshen up. while I am doing it I am wondering what to do apart from lap valves hone bores new gaskets etc I wouldnt mind more power while I am about it all so what options do I have
are the chain tensioners worth doing?
I might get the dremmel out and match the ports and give them a smooth up. where is the best place to buy uprated bits from? USA from the 2.5 SVT?

also a mate has a T3 turbo and S2 intercooler laying around, has anyone done a turbo conversion? would you have to do much internal modifications or change compression ratio on light boost 6-8psi say?

yes i believe USA is the best for na parts anyway, what the mondeos in fastford used the last few times theres been them in

ok i have decided against turbo so i just want a fresh built unit and have a little polish of the head ports and st200 uim etc mustang throttle body.
what make and where to get a clutch kit and engine gasket sets?
what else sgould I do whileits in bits? thinking about new altenator as they are a bitch to get to with it in the car?

 

For my St200 parts i used Tour de Force on the ceg site, he sources them and ships them over. he is very cheap and very good to deal with. he has sourced a few sets for me now.
