Can also use boiled water from the kettle (it wont be quite boiling by the time you get from kitchen to car
)Then if you still have glue left on car clean off with a rag soaked in petrol.

Have taken loads of sets off of ST fiesta's and the focus and its simple really. Just use a heat gun and warm the stripe's you want to remove. Dont heat the bollox out of it because you'll damage the paint underneath. If you heat them properly the stripe should leave no glue trace's on the car. If there is some glue left over just use some degreaser/panel clean or tar and glue remover.
