anyone help my mates st has started to lose power when turbo is at full chat it sounds like air is escaping am not to clued up on turbos so any help would be appreciated we have checked all the hose and pipe fitting but all seems ok.

Maybe a vacuum pipe, boost solenoid or oil diaphragm.

Does it whine a little at standstill?

 

all pipes checked out ok boost solinoid valve is ok also am starting to think its the actuator any ideas?

 

need to check for the whine where is the oil diaphram and how do i check it?

 

gotthis fixed today it was the boost solenoid that was gubbed.
