Default Focus ST3 Key Question

Hi,

Ive got an ST3 which is under two years old. Got in it yesterday and the warning light came on saying remote key battery is low. So rang fords who said this is not covered under warranty?

Should it not be covered with the three year warranty and at least be designed to last longer than 3 years?

Im waiting for them to ring today with a price to fix it!

A new battery from your local motor factors would have been cheaper than the phone call to Ford.

Just buy a new battery.

Sure it's in the small print as wear and tear items, bulbs, fuses, batteries, brake parts, fluids etc....

No i don't see why that would be covered under warranty. It's a battery, it wears out. You can get a pack of 10 for no more than a couple of quid on ebay.
