Never heard of? Starting problem
Hello everyone.
im new here dont even know if im posting in the right place for the problem i have, so please dont go mental if its the wrong place lol.
I have an 06 ST sometimes when i go to start it, it wont start all the lights and blowers come on stereo comes on but nothing from the engine no clicking or ticking after many hours of frustration i ended up with the the key fully turned, the clutch in and i started shaking the gearstick in and out of gear i done this quite vigorously and it started up anyone ive spoken to at my local garages look at me like im speaking a foreign language some laugh as theyve never heard of this. Ive had an ecu reader on it no faults i then spoke to someone who told me could be neutral safety switch/sensor i ordered one from ford then checked with them and was told it wasnt compatible i dont even think my car has neutral safety switch/sensor. Has anyone heard of this happening before? As i mentioned it only happens sometimes but its a pain in the a*#e and i think i might be doing some damage rattling the gearstick about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could be instrument cluster if an Focus, can get it repaired but ECU repairers.https://www.googleadservices.com/pag...qcQ0Qx6BAgCEAE
Does the cluster go --- and not show the mileage when it won't start, you shaking the gearstick, you could try smacking the top of the dash instead
