hi guys,
after replacing the imrc on my 170 the second one has now packed up,
I am sick of it ....
I am looking at cat cams and their Vernier pulleys,
can anyone tell me what happens to the imrc box after the cams are installed and the actual inlet manifold itself ?
will it be opened and altered (the inlet manifold) and will the imrc control box still be plugged in or will it be mapped out and removed ?

thanks in avance !!

You would be better starting a fresh thread of your own.

Cams and inlet are two differant things.

Cams are a waste of money unless your going for the full stand alone engine management system and throttle bodies. You can squeeze nearly 200bhp on the standard cams.

Butchering the inlet will only make it worse.

There are very few people who can map the Oem ecu so you have no chance of getting the imrc or vvt mapped out.

The imrc can be fixed just have a look on google.
