Default Hi suspension question

Hi all.
As I'm new to st ownership, I'd like to ask how do I know if my front suspension is ok. It's seems very stiff up front but understand that stiff suspension is expected on a car like this.
I have tried the usual pushing down on each corner but was surprised when I did this there was hardly any movement. In fact, it was difficult to get the front suspension to compress at all.
Is this normal?
Thanks again.

If it is on coilovers they could be a load of old rubbish but you can at least replace the springs for better ones.

The focus is an awesome handling car and incorrect springs could ruin it, are they coilovers or just aftermarket springs? Either way get something decent and softer of correct spec and you will improve it no end

Its 'defo' parked on a steep slope as well.

Front end is very stiff on these, be hard to tell if yours is lowered/stiffened or not unless you can park it on level ground and redo the photo.
I asked a similar question on a different site - what is the standard ground clearance/ space between top of tyre and wheel arch - because I couldn't get my jack under it.

Standard roof height is 1430mm.

Yes the entrance to my drive is inclined but in my opinion not steep, I shall however measure the height given by 11redex.
Thanks

Measured the height today and it looks pretty standard so probably not lowered which returns me to my original question, why are the shocks so hard?

Because it's the sporty model from the range.
If it's no good for you, either buy a ghia, or fit 15" wheels and regular focus suspension.
