St170 subframes
Hi guys,
So recently I wanted the tracking done on my st170 my brother in law is a mechanic and also tried to do the geometry on the rear wheels as both rear tyres have scrubbed right out on the inside only after a year! 😞
Every time I go over a bump there is a squeaking noise from the near side rear sounds like a bush has gone!
A way he tried to do the geometry but the bolts were rotten. The only way of solving the problem is by getting new rear arms and fitting them. He said to buy them with labour would be around £600. I'm thinking it's worthwhile as I don't want to keep scrubbing tyres out!
But is it worth finding a secondhand subframe instead?
Thanks for advice!!

600?????????????? tell him dream on. they are a nightmare job but 600 would be robbery.
you can get a full rear end with bushes for under 200 new on ebay. just mount it all to your subframe. all the old bolts will need cutting out.
