Default P1518- st170 please help

Hi,

Engine light came on. Sorted the lambda sensor out and that has now cleared but now another fault has popped up on reader. code P1518- intake manifold runner.

What does that actually mean- what's people's experience if they had this fault code before.

Help please
Thanks
Ricky

Kept coming up on mine. Took the control unit apart and used chemical metal to secure the return spring as that's the main culprit for the light coming on, if you google it there's a repair guide on it. Mine came back on months later but never did find out why

Link to info and guide to fix: http://www.focusowners-social.com/fo...p?f=12&t=14519

The fault is the imrc box. The fault is the ribbon cable contacts oxidizing.
