Default service parts for st170 advice please

ive just bought the car so will be swapping all the fluids, is there any particular brands that are better than others?

i need engine oil - castrol fully synthetic?
oil filter
gearbox oil
anti freeze
sparkplugs - ngk iridium/platinum etc?
air filter will be k&n panel or 57i
brake fluid, is it dot 4 or 5.1?

do you have separate diff oil on these?
do you have to swap power steering fluid on these?
do they have a inline fuel filter?

if yes what is best?

anything else worth swapping on them?

i work at halfords so will get whatever they have unless something is better?

The spark plugs are from memory though, it was a couple of years ago that I changed them.

I'm sure I was told to use standard plugs on the ST170 as it is a bit funny with others.
