Default ST170 - which flywheel?

Will be ditching the DMF in the next couple of months for a solid flywheel from either TTV or from Clutchmasters. For the sake of simplicity I was going to get the clutch and fly from TTV but have come across a couple of negative comments in various threads. Would I be better ordering one from Clutch masters.

Pretty sure Will Pedley Racing still does Fidanza flywheel and clutches for the ST170. By all acounts it's an extremely good conversion and cheaper than buying the standard bits from Ford.

Will def look into that! Favouring importing the Clutchmasters kit with the aluminium flywheel at the moment though. Just waiting for a reply with their recommendations regarding which clutch option to go for.

My clutch has just gone on my st170. I have just gone for the same dmf to be replaced. I toyed with the idea of putting in a solid flywheel but wondered whether it may reduce the longevity of the engine as there must be a reason ford put it in? I understand it's to take the load as it engages but even if you put in a sprung friction plate with a solid flywheel wouldn't it still be snappy on engagement?

Just after other peoples opinions
