hi folks, i took my st170 out tonight and the throttle pedal seemed stiff, just for the first few mm i've never noticed it before, almost asif the throttle cable needed replacing, but i've been told it has that stupid fly by wire set up, could someone please clarify this for me, many thanks, steve

 

Normal cable throttle on ST170, ideally need to remove cable from throttle body and see if the throttle plate in the body is sticking

(could need the edges of the throttle plate cleaning,but be careful not to damage the coating of the plate/throttle body bore)

Or if the cable itself is sticking.
