Hi all,

My st170 is running like a bag of s#*t.
Have read the fault codes on dash and comes up with one code, being D262?
Have read its something to do with temp maybe?

But does anyone know what it means and the possible cause?

Disregard it. That's a dash board related code, it will not show engine DTC's, you'll need an OBD reader plugged into the diagnostic socket for that.

Is the engine management light on?

 

The engine management light came on yesterday and has now gone off again. The car has been hesitant for a good few weeks now. Found no fault codes on my OBD reader. That's why I tried the dash trick. Still yet to changed the fuel filter. Think ill do that before the fuel pump.

 

imrc possibly?? i had no eml but the spring had jumped and needed a quick fix. run like a 1.1 when it was playing up

 

is there a way to check the IMRC, im pretty sure i have reciept of it recently being replaced by previous owner.( will check tonight) We've only had the car 2 months if that.lol
