Hello All
I've bought a ST170 and had a look underneath to see what exhaust system was on it as it didn't look standard. I found out that it looks like the mongoose system in the fact that it doesnt have a back box, however it appears to be made of mild steel. The tail pipe has fallen off and looking at the rest of the system it should probably be replaced. I've seen a cat back system on ebay (original equipment) and was wondering if the original system is stainless steel? (as many websites say they are) and does a stainless system such as powerflow etc...really provide that much additional airflow to warrant paying an extra £100 in getting one over this standard system?
Thanks for any reply

no real power gains to be had unless u change the cat or take out the u-bend check pumaspeed.co.uk, the standard exhaust does have 3 sets of baffels, so if you change it cat back its for the sound and looks, cybox do them about £200 posted check ebay, heat rap pre cat, ive been told is worth while,
