hi there i have just bought an st170 and when i start it up before the engine warms up the idling is erratic, sort of hunting a bit. once the engine warms up it idles fine. i took the idle control valve off and when i switch the ignition on and off i can here it clicking so i think this is working. can anybody help me please.

 

Check lamba sensors mate, mine did that when it was on the cold start map
