Default ST170 Bearing

HI

Wondering if i can get some help please. Had my car at the garage due to a noise which i thought was the bearing on its was out which they confirmed, the mechanic told me that the bearing has to be bought as a bearing and hub assembly? Is this true?

Ive also been told that you can use any hub & bearing assembly for focus's with rear discs as only the disc and capliper sizes change??

Thanks!

Yes the rear bearing is the same on all rear disk focus. You can get the bearing seperate and with the hub attached. Just get the bearing (about £35 each), press out the hub, remove the circlips and press out the old bearing, press in new one, jobs a good un
