A few years ago I bought a 5 pot focus st engine box and wiring etc to fit into the sierra, that sort of didn't work out so I waited for a fiesta to turn up to boot it into.

And now the mrs is moaning that it's sat there for 3 years and done nothing so it's up for grabs, if only to make some space in the garage.

If I can find thebpics on pb I'll stick them up but it's the engine, box, loom, ecu, starter etc etc which I've simply split to make it more feesable handle.

I forked out £800 for it and would hopefully get that back for it, but any sensible offer I'll consider.

It's heavy and you may need a van or the like to collect, and no, I'm not going to drop it off as it's just too much hassleto drive around the world dropping things off.

From memory it had around the 34,000 miles on it accodring to the guy I bougt it from but I've never run it so please take that into account.

 

 

can i ask how it didnt work out in the sierra as i was curious on how easy one of these went in one? and if it was for other reasons have you got the job lot for the conversion???

it didn't work in the sierra simply due to the fact that i couldn't fabricate a mount for the "back" of the engine as there's nothing to bolt to

on the fwd applications you've got the box to hang a mount from, but rwd that wouldn't have worked too well

i was on the look out for a blown up engined fiesta to shoe horn it into but my back isn't what it used to be and i'm having issues with other bones i've broken over the years, some mornings even putting on a pair of socks is too much so i'm sort of shifting everything big first and then sorting bits and bobs out over the coming months

i've got the whole complete lump to simply shoehorn into a motor. wiring and everything, just missing an intercooler and the inlet plastic manifold is broken but it's even got a starter and alternator and clutch and stuff

it's been moved out the garage these past few weeks so it's ready to winch into the back of a motor to take away

 

Ah I see now. I have a 3dr sierra thats why i ask. It would go like stink in a fiesta tho lol!

Dojj - funnily enough i was thinking of putting this in my 3dr - apart from the rear mount and intercooler, is everything there?

i have everything bar the intercooler

but the inlet manifold (plastic) has had the front bit snapped off so you'd have to source one of these

 

Just out of interest whats the overall length of the engine and box?

 

Measured the box but not the engine so I'll take some the next time I'm there

simple plate between the engine and box would take care of the rear mount.....

 

But that leaves about 15 inches with no support so you need to fab something the length of the engine and then possibly relocate the turbo

measurements have been difficult as i didn't take the tape with me when i popped over

tomorrow, depending on when i finish, you will get them dimensions

 

Funny you say that I've got a diesel transit connect and after seeing the 2.0 rs tops out about 130 ish, I'm looking into fitting the five pot lump plus love the sound it makes, any advise would be great that I will need to fit this in

No key chip but if you can collect it within a week I may be open to offers

It's been out in the rain under a cover for the past while though as someone was supposed to collect but didn't and now I don't have an engine hoist either so come prepared
