3.0L Hybrid V6 Duratec Engine
OK, my 3.0L Hybrid V6 lump out of my old ST24 Mondeo is now up for sale as it's sitting in my garage.
What you'll get is this;
A bit about the engine; It was built by Autocraft SVE at great expense by it's previous owner (worse side of 6k)
It's done about 25000 miles so is just about run in now You go with the split port head to get higher torque figures that the oval port (hence why it's called a Hybrid. If you want any info on this type of engine just have a look on www.contour.org)
It's been dyno'd at 246bhp 2 years on the trot & never missed a beat (when it was built it made 290bhp on static duno). It has potential to be well in excess of 260bhp+ in the car with the right inlets/exhaust (I didn't want to run this high due to drive shafts gearboxes going bang)
Here's a few pics of when I put it into my ST
Currently sitting here
If anyone wants anymore info or pictures just let me know.
If you want it all you need to do is part with £1000 & it's all yours (once you come & get it that is)
For info the engines in Portsmouth on the South coast

have you done any thing to the gearbox? changed the diff, shot peened or any thing like that...
I might be intested in the flywheel. How much are you asking for it?
Do you have any thing else left from your build?
Thanks

Gearbox is standard mate, didn't ever get round to fitting a LSD to it as I had planned to.
Flywheel & clutch assembly is up for £150 +postage (rather it was collected though)
I've got the ST200 Upper Inlet Manifold still for sale. This has been chromed & is up for £200 +posatge.

to be honest mate, i dont think im gona for the clutch and the flywheel can be lighter so i think ill hold out for another.
I noticed you a quite a big list of parts on the St owners site. DO you have any thing left form that list?
Im after quite a few parts at the moment so any thing you might have left could reall help. I know i have already asked this but ya never know.
Also this might sound cheeky, but if the sale of the engine does not go through then i would be very intested to take it of your hands.
Thanks again
