Problems with my FRS....
I have been having the battery light & abs light flicker on and off alot recently, also the dash lights & head lights stay dim all the time unless i put my foot down and take it above 4000rpm then the lights get bright again, but this goes dim again after a minute...
Ford said I had a faulty alternator so they replaced that checked the cabling and they said everything was fine.. Still had the same problems after they done that, now they seem to think it must be the a faulty PCM but there are no fault codes...
What do you guys think and where is the PCM located?
They asked me if it had been chipped as they said this can cause the PCM to malfunction over time....Obviously I said no..

I ve never heard of an frs doing this before, if i was you i would remove bluefin, then do a drive cycle (80 - 100 miles). then take it back to your fraud dealer and
at the service manager, or take it to a specailist who actually knows something about the frs.
When it first went it they found a P1246 fault code, when I read up on this it says to check the Alternator, check PWR, check GND, check PCM...
So they assumed it was the Alternator without doing anymore tests..

Send it back to them mate if the problem is still there. Ford can be quite frankly crap; at times. My local dealer wanted to charge me Ł300 to tell me why the ABS light was on on my S2.
