i had a volvo before the 220.bloody loved the performance and can see why it will be popular but evrything else was just too expensive.
i had a 850 T5R with 250bhp,the ST engine is a T5 engine with smaller turbo(i think anyway)as it produces 225bhp as most 850's,S70's, s60's and V70's from 1995 produced 250bhp in standard T5 form.
New tyres every 8,000miles at 100quid and with 18's on that will be 125quid.
service was 250quid and major service was 350quid.
If they carry on the volvo tradition it will be an expensive motor.i hope they have learnt.Because you can pick a T5 up these days for 3 grand.Not a nice prospect.Still a nice car and will be fun to drive.

When i asked my dealer about the servicing they told me it was 200 quid a year.

 

not too bad then.my ST cost 140 quid a year.did he say how much for the major service bet that will be bout 300.not bad all in but the so called cheap hatchs are not cheap to run.
