Default computer/sat-nav display

I have the "fully loaded" (as the salesman put it) version of the Focus RS reg 2010
My computer display and everything on the unit has stopped working. i.e. no sat-nav, no rear camera, no control of air-con, literally everything on the unit not working. My dealer says there is a fault with the audio unit. A new unit will cost "around £3 000!" They are enquiring about an exchange unit.
Has anyone else had this problem?

do the buttons work and it's just the screen that's gone? the unit in my old st played up a couple of times, disconnect the battery for 10 mins usually cured it.

No, nothing works. All fuses have been checked and it's been on the diagnostics machine. Pressing any of the buttons has no effect.

I'm sure this would have been done when it went in to the dealers on Friday: thanks for the reply anyway😉
