Hello I have a problem with the reverse light switch to my RS. I changed but I put an aftermarket switch on the trans not a genuine Ford switch.It works when you put it in reverse but as soon as you leave hand off the stick it goes off.Or you start to back up and shuts off

Any solutions??

 

Did the new switch have a sealing washer on? If it has it may be too thick. Try it out for a thinner one.

 

Didn't check. I think that I will try a genuine switch. Thanks
