Focus RS Mk1 buying advice
I have been looking to buy one of these for a few months, I'm going to hopefully get time to view some soon, just looking for some advice what to look out for, I've heard a few things like waterpump/thermostat, charge cooler pumps, corrosion on arches etc also heard the engines can give you trouble higher up the miles around 70-80k? I've heard this but it may not be true..
I want something around 40-60k, not any higher miles than this and I would like something I can drive rather than moth ball Any help appreciated

I have only used it about half a dozen times as the weathers been crap here, the spec is :-
Blueflame black ceramic coated tubular manifold
Forge Actuator 22psi
Forge Re-circulating valve
Roose boost and water hoses
K&N Gen 2
AE & TUNA ECU Re-flash
Miltek big bore down pipe
Blue flame flexi section
H&Rs and a few other mods here and there, The only thing it needs now is a steering wheel which I hope to get soon, then maybe a bigger turbo and front mount but I will see what happens....

I'm from Fife mate, I'm sure I have seen your white mk2 if it has your username as number plate?? In and around Edinburgh etc as I work there often, black wheels and quite a bit lower than standard..
I did register on Focusrsoc but haven't been back on yet, I will get posting soon
