Default adjustable strut top mounts

what are peoples thought on these.

My dad keeps saying he wont let me lower the car as it wont handle as well and under heavy braking it wont be as effective....( I belive him as he knows a hell of a lot more than me hes a mechanic of 25 odd years lol)

but will and adjustable top mount along with lowered springs be the same as it was?

thanks

I'm sure you would need much more then lowering spring to make the car handle as good if not better then before. I'd say Lowering springs, Adjustable anti roll bars, Anti lift kit, Adjustable drip links, Camber adjusting bolts and a fast road geometry set up along with the adjustable strut mounts. So I'd be with your Dad as to leave it as it is unless you know a place that specialises in the setting up the RS but it'll be a lot of money just to get a lower solute.

Only learning about the RS myself but thats what I'd want if I was ever to think about lower my Impreza. I'd say the RS would be much the same. But any problem cause by lowering the front would be very apparent due to the power going to the front wheels.
