I have a 54 Reg 1.8 Zetec Focus and the steering wheel is falling to bits, the thread is coming off and the rubber is all distorted. What other options are there. I could replace with another wheel but whats stopping it from happening again, are there other wheels out there of better spec, ie leather etc from a better spec car? Want it to be standard so keeping the airbag.

 

yh mate they have a leather one, have a look on ebay, i sold mine a few months ago for £50
