Hi,

I noticed the other day that my focus was idling a bit rough. Iv bin having problems with the car been abit hesistant as certain revs and loosing power as well. Changed the plugs and leads but still hasnt sorted it. MAF is clean and ecu reset. I dont think it is to do with my cams and they arent wild ones and have been set up properly and bin fitted for bout 4months.

Also my m8 said it was making a noise like tappets used to on my old car and he said maybe hydraulic tappets??

ANy one got any ideas?

oh car is a mk1 1.8 petrol focus

 

itll be your ICV at a guess mate

 

will check it m8, but only checked it few months ago and fine then. the car is also drinkin fuel as well. Used half a tank on 135/140 miles and usually it does bout 170ish
