Default turboing a focus

just wondering, whats the easy way of turboing a zetec blacktop engine, have quickly looked at the zvh route but dunno how easy and how much roughtly it would cost to do, is there any other way of turboing, at a cheap cost, not looking for massive bhp just somthing quick enough, to live with! cheers

imo no easy cheap way that'll last. If your gonna do it do it right first time otherwise your'll be replacing broken part's or upgrading parts. It's not as simple as Boltin a turbo on. For a start the focus ecu can't control boost so your'll need a stand alone. Ur'll eat standard clutches, standard internals will see around 8psi. Easiest way get a second hand focus rs engine and gearbox can be swapped in a weekend. My zetec turbo owes me around 4.5k that's with forged internals race bearings, pectel t2, 6 paddle clutch and lsd. Im selling my manifold and turbo if your interested, but iv probably just put you off. Lmao

I'm sure maintenance costs would come with a price. It's a nice extra though.
